Dubai: Vaazha II - Biopic of Billion Bros, directed by debutant Savin SA, is racing toward record-breaking figures at the box office. Written by hit-maker Vipin Das and featuring a cast of newcomers, the film has remarkably collected 100 Crores in just 7 days.
A grand celebration was held at Vox Cinemas, Deira City Centre, Dubai, where a special Vaazha-themed cake was cut. The event was attended by Rafique (Home Screen Entertainment), Suresh (Global Media Hub), Ratheesh (RV Entertainments), Manoj (Manoj & Associates), actors/models Abu and Athulya, and prominent journalists Shajahan Poovachal, Chacko Oolakkadan, and Sahal Beck Al Arab. Neethu Aneesh and Deepak Nambiar coordinated the event, which was followed by a special screening.
This marks a historic moment in Malayalam cinema as it is the first time a film led by newcomers and a debutant director has reached the 100-crore mark so rapidly. The movie features Hashir, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak, alongside veteran actors like Sudheesh, Aju Varghese, and Alphonse Puthren. The film is being lauded for its perfect blend of humor and emotional depth, addressing themes like teacher-student dynamics and sibling love.
